The common thread throughout my career is the importance of communication and relationship building because no one can do it alone. As a former athlete, my passion for sports taught me teamwork at an early age and I’ve carried that with me into my professional development and formal education at Northwestern University where I studied Leadership and Organization Behavior. I’ve been a coach, mentor, manager and leader of many people helping to inspire those around me and leave a positive impact wherever the journey takes me.My career journey has taken me on a unique path that has allowed me to gain a depth of knowledge and expertise in leadership and culture. My breadth of experience spans across several industries such as insurance, non-profit, financial services, sports technology, private equity, SaaS and ticketing. I’ve held roles within a variety of functions including sales, enablement, customer service, learning and development, product management, go-to-market, human resources and talent management. This rare blend of industries and functions has allowed me to acquire transferable skills to lead at every level from business development rep to executive leadership team. The ability to work cross-functionally and speak the ‘language’ of all business units is my superpower that allows me to connect the dots within an organization. I’ve been fortunate to work in large national companies ranging with 20,000 employees, medium-large global companies spanning 30+ countries, and small start-up organizations in the growth phase.
