I manage the Feynman Lecture Hall at Caltech. For the most part, that consists of curating a wonderful array of physics demos, to be used in the intro physics classes. I also help with booking and running events in the lecture hall, and maintain its A/V systems.- Built demonstration archive website and database, cataloging over 250 demonstrations: physicsdemos.caltech.edu.- Designed and built a new lecture hall audiovisual control system.- Maintained, operated, taught demonstrations for introductory physics classes.- Designed and built new demonstrations.

-Concurrently developed and taught innovative Android development and electronics courses for 2016-2017 Academic Year.- Advised 41 students through independent capstone projects in robotics, web development, Android applications, video games.- Designed, fabricated, tested electronic, laser-based tabletop game (“Laser Battleship”) to teach students linear equations; designed custom PCB for microcontroller.- Designed and implemented custom software and hardware for math, physics, and computer science classes, including development of custom Web interface program for Arduino projects. - Created innovative physics and math projects to engage student in ways traditional classes would not.- Incorporated MATLAB to synergize with programming classes and for students to analyze data.- Built and tested equipment & MATLAB programs for student projects. - Analyzed data and statistics for PEF.

Applied Physics Laboratory:- Updated and rewrote instructions and procedures for experiments. - Evaluated progress and lab reports.- Taught, oversaw, and maintained the following laboratory experiments: • Substrate cleaning and wet processing station in Class 100 Cleanroom. • Use of atomic force microscope and scanning electron microscope.• Electron beam lithography.• Measure blackbody radiation of a known source and of the sun.• Basic analog circuitry and op-amps.• Argon plasma resonance cone generation and characterization.Energy Studies:- Reviewed class material and homework related to energy production.- Topics included solar power, fuel cells, hydroelectric, wind, tidal, geothermal, fossil fuels, energy policy.- Graded tests and homework assignments.

Fuel Cells:- Worked with research group studying Nafion membranes in fuel cells.- Studied hydrogen diffusion through hydrated Nafion membrane.- Wrote code to simulate molecular motion of water in membrane channels.Nanowires:- Grew semiconductor nanowires on silicon chip with gas feed.- Used spin coating, photolithography, and vapor deposition to apply micro- circuit design to chip.- Examined electrical properties of nanowire chips to determine transistor properties.
