I am currently a third-year undergraduate student in the Economics Major in the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I aspire to pursue a career in Public Policy research and scholarship because I have a passion for engaging with the ideas and solutions that shape the world around us. During the summer of 2021, I landed a position as Student Researcher with Brookings Mountain West and have since been able to not only contribute to the publication of numerous fact sheets but intimately learn the practices and procedures of the Public Policy world.Even before transitioning into college, I came to understand the importance of not only continued learning but learning how to learn.
