As Associate Medical Director, I focused on delivering quality patient care in this facility. My responsibilities included implementing medical policies facility wide, researching and evaluating new treatment options, seeking medically innovative treatment for patients, working collaboratively with staff to ensure the adoption of standards and policies result in improved patient care, developing and maintaining a budget, and creating objectives for the facility.

As a clinical instructor, I was able to play a critical role in the education of the next generation of medical doctors. My responsibilities included: supervising the care provided by the students, working with the staff to coordinate student patient assignments, teaching students how to perform specific duties, assisting students in putting their knowledge into hands on practice, answering questions to support continued learning and evaluating each student's progress over the course of the clinical session.

During my Fellowship, I completed specialized training in Endocrinology & Metabolism. With this specialty I am able to assist patients struggling with hormone related issues, struggles with metabolism and have a greater understanding of the processes that make our bodies work efficiently.

Internal medicine physicians diagnose and provide treatment of diseases and injuries to the internal organ systems of their patients. These complex issues create many significant challenges for those that suffer from these different diseases or injuries. In addition to my duties as a resident physician, Chief Resident is a leadership position to provide support for the goals of the residency program. As Chief Resident, I also provided support and mentorship to other resident physicians and advocated for my peers.
