The Innovation Lab at CME is a small team committed to imbuing a client first decision making process in within a mature firm rooted in other decision-making processes. Specifically assigned the responsibility of providing vision and direction to the University of Illinois at Chicago program and the 48 cadets it consists of. Responsible for developing talent pipelines, fostering an environment that encourages cadet initiative, and recommending cadets for commissioning.• Developed new relationships with UIC administrators intended to increase cooperation between academic and ROTC advisors, streamlined scheduling processes and a more wide spread recognition of academic credits earned in the ROTC department• Invited to participate on the university wide “Student Success Initiatives” program by the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs• Identified community and veteran organizations with mutual interests to create dynamic programs benefiting both the cadets and the Chicago community

Ft. Carson, Colorado & Kuwait

Responsible for 163 Soldiers and equipment valued at 57 million dollars. Conducts training for unique brigade enablers including the military police platoon and chemical reconnaissance platoon. Provides maintenance, transportation and distribution support to the battalion. Maintains administrative control of 38 Soldiers on the Battalion Staff.• Planned and managed execution of a remote ten week partnership plan with the Kuwaiti Military Police Brigade to improve interoperability at core military police tasks• Led property consolidation and reduction operations which returned $1.8 million dollars worth of equipment to the Army inventory

Ft. Carson, Colorado

Responsible for 64 Soldiers, 14 M1A2 v2 SEPs and over 65 million dollars of equipment. Responsible for re-organizing from a 130 Soldier mechanized infantry company to a 64 Soldier tank company. Developed and led individual and collective training plan, maintained oversight of maintenance operations and enforced command supply discipline.• Conducted oversight of plans for the company's execution of the Army’s pilot program for unit level reset which were completed ahead of schedule• Used the battalion long range training calendar to develop a comprehensive individual and collective training schedule and deployed prepared Soldiers to field training exercises• Selected for a second command position

Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan

Responsible for 130 Soldiers, four pieces of tactical infrastructure and property valued at over 100 million dollars. Led operations to increase indigenous security force capabilities, develop dependency between Afghan government organizations and tribal power structures. Interacted with international aid organizations to increase economic opportunity and provide immediate relief from poverty.• Used personal interactions to lead diverse interest groups in recognizing common goals and developing solutions to collective problems• Re-organized Soldiers, equipment and facilities to meet changing mission requirements• As a result of increased security and support between local and regional power structures, the Arghandab River Valley transitioned to Afghan led security and governance efforts

Ft. Hood, Texas

Responsible for maintenance and accountability of 14 M1A2 SEP v3 tanks, three additional vehicles and equipment valued in excess of 65 million dollars. Completed resourcing for all company training events and supervised 9 Soldiers.• Resourced seven live fire ranges, stabilized & unstabilized gunnery and a portion of the Brigade Expert Infantry Badge testing• In the Commanders absence, received the quarterly training brief and developed fully resourced training plans to meet the commander’s intent

Ft. Hood, Texas

Assisted operations planning and command and control of operations for a 935 Soldier organization with over 350 vehicles during deployment and garrison operations.• Selected to serve as the Officer in Charge at the isolated joint tactical operations center with the 36th BDE, 6th Iraqi Army Headquarters and sole liaison to the attached Military Transition Team• Planned and executed a staff ride for 36 officers to the Alamo

Ft. Hood, Texas & Baghdad, Iraq

Direct supervisor of 16 Soldiers. Responsible for accountability and maintenance of four M1A2 SEP v2 tanks, four up-armored HMMWVs, four Maxxpro Plus MRAPS and other equipment valued in excess of 25 million dollars. Planned and led training in individual skills and collective tasks. Conducted training of Iraqi Army units and local law enforcement members during combat operations.• Of four tank crews conducting tank gunnery, one crew qualified distinguished and two crews qualified superior• Selected to operate a brigade level Joint Operations Center responsible for over 215 square miles of Baghdad to include the primary lines of communication and supply between Baghdad International Airport and northern Iraq

Responsible for acting as a coach, role model, mentor and leader for 60 cadet athletes. Coordinated logistic support to include lodging, food and transportation for seven team trips.
