As the Community Relations Manager at Mountaire Farms I work every day to make connections in the communities that we serve, and strive to show appreciation to our employees, customers, farmers, and neighbors. I started my career in agriculture after graduating from The Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. After working as the Marketing Intern for MidAtlantic Farm Credit, I transitioned into a permanent role as an Agricultural Loan Officer. Continuing to build on the foundation I had established at Salisbury University I received a Masters in Business Administration in 2013. When I was not in the field with my customers I found myself advocating for the Agricultural Community and the farmers on Delmarva that help feed the world. Through the LEAD Maryland Fellowship Program, the Administrative Council role with Northeast SARE, helping to establish the annual Wicomico County Fair, I spent time working alongside organizations like UMD Extension, Junior Achievement, and local Area Chambers of Commerce. Through these volunteer organizations and efforts I found that my true passion lies in strengthening relationships within my community and supporting local initiatives focused on agriculture and education.
