The Paint Scientists is a project that started a little over a year ago, but was not officially launched until recently. My goal was to spread the love of art in a fun environment to people who may not otherwise engage in the activity. In doing this, I have teamed up with venue owners to bring lively patrons to their establishments and help increase their visibility.

I am a freelance fine artist and illustrator. Most of my work is done in charcoal and graphite, however I work in a wide variety of media.I also teach small groups and one on one classes. Media that I teach in include (but are not limited to) graphite, charcoal, water color, pen/ink, acrylic, colored pencil, and chalk.Skills that I teach include (but are not limited to) figure drawing/painting, perspective drawing, architectural drafting, still life painting/drawing, landscape painting, and texture rendering.

I am a seasonal illustrator and live carver with Rise of The Jack O' Lanterns. I am part of a team of illustrators and carvers who prepare jack o' lanterns for a yearly Halloween festival. I am also a live carver during the show. I demonstrate the process of carving and sculpting jack o' lanterns and interact with guests through the process.
