Zach is a young entrepreneur, investor, and creative thinker with a passion for extreme sports and adventure.At 18 he brokered his first home sale and became the youngest licensee to close a real estate transaction in Colorado history. In the same year he completed his first fix and flip investment and made his first non-performing note purchase.Outside of investing through Venturesome Capital, Zach has a strong passion for entrepreneurship and startups. He took his first real dive into the world of business by becoming a managing partner of Matik Metal Innovation (formerly Matik&Co.) during his senior year of high school. Matik was originally providing prefabrication services within the oil & gas industry and has since pivoted to the architectural steel and high-end custom furniture markets. At the time, Zach and his partner used the revenue generated from the business to buy and sell used cars.After learning a time consuming lesson at foreclosure auction, Zach was forced to quickly assemble his first ever solo-startup. In mid 2015, he founded Alliance Demo & Cleanup Solutions, an interior/exterior demolition and clean-up company. Zach and the Alliance Demo team have established hundreds of relationships with a highly reputable clientele base in the Colorado real estate and construction industries. ADCS completed over 1,000 projects in the first six years and made multiple appearances on HGTV.In late 2015, while still serving as CEO of Alliance Demo, Zach visualized eGent; a real estate eContract software. R&D was performed in collaboration with local industry leaders, associations, and countless individual brokers and teams. In early 2020, eGent came to life.During the long and strenuous development of eGent, Zach joined Lon Welsh (an eGent Board Member and mentor to Zach) as a founding team member of Ironton Capital, a Denver-based real estate investment fund. Zach and Lon raised over $45M of private equity in the first 12 months of the company’s operation.In 2024, eGent was acquired by global Proptech powerhouse and parent company of CTM eContracts, MRI Software.
