Leadership and direction for the KUPCE Aerospace Short Course Program. Procure, manage and prepare in-house aerospace engineering continuing education courses at companies and governments worldwide. Tasks include, but are not limited to:Budgeting and Procurement: Preparing budgets for projects to assure that they achieve the break even point as required by the non-profit University of Kansas and State of Kansas.Contracting: Review of external and internal contracts, purchase orders and amendments to assure legal compliance with State of Kansas rules and regulations. Liaising with University of Kansas General Counsel and Client legal departments to establish mutually agreeable contractual language.Export Control Compliance: Understanding of regulations involved in delivering short courses to foreign nationals around the world. Incorporate export control regulations in to new and current short course materials. Marketing/Social Media: Assist in development/refinement of marketing literature, websites, and advertising campaigns to promote new and ongoing courses, both on-site and online. Posting of social media content on behalf of the Aerospace Short Course Program. Development of webinars for marketing purposes. Understanding Customer Needs: Working with each client to understand their needs from each course, and act as a liaison between client and instructor to develop new content, if necessary, or tailor existing content for their specific needs.On-Site Coordination: Act as a representative of the University of Kansas during the execution phase of in-house courses worldwide.
