For ten years I've played nearly every role related to Twitter 1.0's Developer Platform business. I was the first person hired to focus full-time on Twitter's partner ecosystem, which I proudly grew and strengthened with the help of an incredible team. During this time I worked on a bit of everything related to Twitter's ecosystem, enterprise data platform, APIs, and platform partnerships. As head of Twitter's Ecosystem, I developed and executed multi-year business strategies, hired, grew, and managed teams, acquired several companies, and built out the operations of Twitter's Platform Licensing business - growing it to ~$400M in revenue.

I was a Senior Analyst with Forrester Research focusing on Social Intelligence - using insights generated from online discussion to inform business strategy. I researched the applications of using social media data for the enterprise, the process of identifying actionable insight from online conversation, and the technology and service vendors that make managing social media data possible.I consulted with Forrester clients on the ways emerging technologies shape their customer relationships and business strategies. I also spent much of my time at Forrester working with technology vendors -- advising on product strategy, roadmap planning, go-to-market tactics, and landscape differentiation. Lastly, I also worked with the investment community advising on target startups, conducting diligence, and on helping their portfolio companies on M&A strategy.I was frequently cited in such outlets as CNN, The Financial Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal, and have spoken on radio and TV outlets, including NPR and Bloomberg TV, and presented at leading industry events like Enterprise 2.0 and SXSW.

I helped build a social media monitoring tool and ran the social media strategy service. My work involved social media analytics, building and advising on corporate blogs, planning social media marketing campaigns, developing corporate social media strategies, and driving social media monitoring initiatives.

Along with general college admissions tasks, I wrote and managed the official blog, served as a community manager of a college admissions discussion forum, and moderated online chats.
