I am an alumni of The Ohio State University who graduated in May of 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Construction Systems Management. I feel that I have the skills to be a leader as a construction manager. I love watching and playing football, basketball, and baseball/softball. In high school, I was a captain for all three of these sports my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I feel that playing these sports have helped me develop my leadership skills and make them better.All of my life I strive to do the right thing. Doing the right thing may not always be easy or put myself in the best situations, but this is something that I have a strong support for in my life. I am a hard working guy who is great with people. There are several occasions at work when someone comes up to me with questions about something or do not know how something works. I do my best to help them figure out how to make it work or get them an answer to all of their questions if i don't know the answer. I will do whatever I can to get the job done right the first time.In May of 2013, I took an internship with Park Enterprise Construction Company, Inc., in Marion, Ohio. While there, I did a take-off on the demolition of an old elementary building and how much concrete was in the building. I created some lien waivers, and other documents for the company.After I graduated from Ohio State, I became a project manager at Great Roofing and Restoration in Worthington, Ohio. I went door to door inspecting the roofing of residential homes looking for hail and wind damage. If I found some damage, I would then have the home owner contact the insurance company to come and do an inspection themselves. Once the insurance company did their inspection, I would then work directly with them to replace and pay for the new roof. While the roof work was in progress, I would be at the project managing the installers to ensure proper installation and to retrieve any material that would be needed.
