Achieved the following while managing HR, Investor Relations, Facilities and Finance: • Successfully raised $16 million in December 2010 and $6 million in December 2011 from existing venture partners by accomplishing the funding requirements of audited financial statements, a restructured integrated organization focused on profitability and a successful launch of a new operating platform. • Analyzed the profitability of business units, identified and worked with business unit leaders to sell or discontinue future investment in unprofitable areas. This included the successful sale of the Interactive TV and Connected TV division to Transgaming for $7 million and Iplay’s operations in China to Net2Gather for $1.5 million.• Integrated six previously acquired companies, consolidated finance functions in New York, implemented a consolidated single instance of Great Plains and instituted new processes, procedures and regular reviews allowing for a significant reduction in headcount, the first audited results in five years and the collection of $9.5 million in past due receivables.• Defined and implemented key performance measures for all departments. Industrial Origami is funded by Environmental Technology Fund, Adinvest AG and Palo Alto Investors.• Successfully raised $17 million in Series C Funding, with primary focus diligence and business planning provided to venture capital firms.• Managed patent portfolio of over 400 issued and pending patent applications and build a database to account for the status of each in each jurisdiction, including a forecast of the quarterly and lifetime cost of the patent portfolio by patent and jurisdiction.• Instituted timely reporting to the management team, board of directors and significant holders, including management discussion and analysis, dashboards of operating results and roadmap of key deliverables.• Sucessfully relocated Industrial Origami from San Francisco CA to Cleveland OH.

WageWorks is a benefits administrator funded by VantagePoint, which completed a sucessfull IPO in 2012. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including 4 direct reports and 22 indirect reports. Significant achievements include:• Readied the company for an IPO by rebuilding accounting staff, completing audit in 3 months vs. 9 months, consistently reporting results in 10 days and drafting S-1 Registration Statement.• Leading or being the finance delegate on a number of multi-discipline process improvement projects to streamline and automate existing processes in relation to the collection and disbursement of over $2 billion on an annual basis on 1.7 million individual participant accounts for over 3000 clients, including more than 100 of the current Fortune 500.• Due diligence, financial analysis and evaluation of accounting implication for completed and proposed mergers, including detailed revenue forecasts.• Internal and external reporting, including board presentations.

@Road was publicly traded software company generating $100 million in revenue providing mobile resources management productivity solutions. Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the finance department, including 5 direct reports and 18 indirect reports. Ensuring that staff is appropriately guided, mentored and challenged. Significant achievements include:• Acquired by Trimble Navigation for $493 million.• Lead a number of multi-discipline process improvement projects to streamline and automate existing processes, including a reimplementation of Oracle 11i (from Oracle 10.3) to maintain its ranking of one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Bay Area.• Successfully acquired a European subsidiary for $54 million and filed an S-3 Registration Statement for shares issued in relation to the acquisition. Integrated subsidiary ahead of schedule.• Due diligence, financial analysis and evaluation of accounting implication for completed and proposed mergers, including detailed revenue forecasts.• Internal and external reporting, including board presentations, press releases and SEC filings.• Analyzing complex global accounting issues, including revenue recognition, stock-based payments, derivatives and purchase accounting.

Artisan Components was a publicly traded software company generating $89 million in revenue provider of physical intellectual property components for the design and manufacture of integrated circuits. Significant achievements include:• Acquired by ARM Holdings for $913 million.• Reduced monthly revenue close from 3 weeks to six days with revenue growth from $37 million to $89 million, through re-engineering, standardization and streamlining the revenue recognition process. • Completed a success secondary offering raising $55 million with a simultaneous acquisition of NurLogic, with primary responsibility for pro-forma information, co-ordination with external auditors and managing the valuation and due diligence consultants.• Managed the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Project, assisting finance managers in drafting of system descriptions, flow charts and identifying all controls and the selection of the key controls.• Successfully implementation of new accounting package (GreatPlains) below budget and ahead of schedule.• Successfully completed an R&D tax credit study to substantiate the credit for the period 1996 through 2002.• Re-engineered and streamlined the annual budgeting and rolling forecast process.
