CurrentLeading project teams to develop and commercialize innovative AI-enabled ultrasound-based medical devices. • Managed electrical & mechanical engineering staff and led electromechanical development of 2 products. • Developed numerous technologies and IP to enable real-time image- and needle-guidance for anesthesia. • Served as Lead Program Integrator to plan and coordinate work between departments for 2 programs. • Designed and built novel ultrasound probe and consumables to enable image-guided regional anesthesia (Accuro 3S). • Designed motorized ultrasound probe and 5-DOF patient-interface subsystem for a new ultrasound-based rapid fracture detection device (Accuro XV). • Led 30+ participant market research study with interviews & product demo (anesthesiologists & CRNAs). • Planned and executed 5+ formative usability studies to capture physician feedback during the design process. • Implemented Agile/Scrum methodology and design review process to improve product development efficiency.
