I am working with the Ticket Operations department as a Mail Order Assistant. My day to day responsibilities include printing and paying accounts in Archtics and Host ticketing systems, assisting with special projects in the department, and helping with incoming accessible seating (ADA) calls. I was the main point person with the All Star Student Achiever program in our department. I assist other departments with their special events, such as Star Wars Night with Game Day Entertainment, VIP Experiences with Guest Relations or Dragon*Con Nights with Group Sales. I also act in a variety of roles within Ticket Operations on game nights including window sales, back office support, or Will Call.

Atlanta, Georgia

I expanded my work with the Atlanta Braves to include the Braves Around Town Team. The BAT Team was primarily a mobile marketing unit for the organization. We made appearances at different events throughout the Atlanta area, and sometimes well beyond. Our day-to-day operation would vary depending on the event, but the bottom line was the same: get people excited about Atlanta Braves baseball. This was achieved through giveaways, games, interactions, and mostly by just having fun with guests. We attended corporated events, fairs, or anywhere else we were invited (or lobbied) to go. The staff was also a support staff for events at Turner Field, both during large games and activities at the ballpark when the team was out of town. Our knowledge of the upcoming promotions and events was crucial in providing potential new guests the latest information. I enjoyed working with this team and always brought my passion, my enthusiasm, and my hard-work to the job. I was awarded the Employee of the Month honor in August. I worked closely with many members of the marketing and corporate sales department during this time. This experience gives me the opportunity to further my knowledge of the marketing process.

I was a supervisor of a large staff responsible for handling a variety of game-day activities, such as interactions with VIP Guests, batting practice experiences, crowd control, parades, and private parties. I managed and responded to both routine and unusual situations in a timely and orderly fashion in accordance with stadium rules and regulations. I effectively communicated with other staff supervisors and associates to ensure customer and guest concerns were managed appropriately to maintain the high level of customer service expected of Turner Field and Atlanta Braves Baseball. We assisted ticket sales in promoting and executing sales incentives. I also promoted and sold membership in the Kids Club.

Duluth, Ga

I am currently working with the Gwinnett Gladiators in an entertainment capacity. I portray Maximus the Lion, the Gladiators mascot. I took over the role and quickly added life into the position. I am innovative in my interactions with fans and staff as I increased the exposure of the character. I added regular routines and build relationships with regular fans and first time guests alike. I enjoy entertaining the crowd at the Arena at Gwinnett Center and my reception has been outstanding.

Atlanta, Ga

My role comprised of personal security for the team mascot, Thrash, including shadowing the mascot, maintaining a safe environment for fans and employees, managing time schedules and visitations for Thrash, and handling any props required. I worked closely with many staffs, including security and ushering personnel. I acted as an additional entertainer by speaking with guests, dancing, and pumping up the crowd while in full suit and communicating with entertainment directors. All of this was done while playing a character as part of a group known as the Men in Black. The team has since relocated to Winnipeg.

Lake Buena Vista, Fl

I helped ensure timely operation of guest bus and monorail schedules, supervised bus and monorail activity and monitored conditions to confirm they met Disney’s high caliber safety and show regulations while simultaneously entertaining and speaking with guests. I contributed to the Disney standards by maintaining character, practicing safe operations, exceeding guest expectations, and assisting with the proficiency for both the company and guests.

I assisted with developing a fan-oriented department while supporting basketball sales and the expansion of football team. This included managing fan outreach at games and by phone, supervising meetings with companies, school personnel, and government officials. I managed interactive displays and staff at events. I established relationships with other persons and organizations within the school while arranging group and individual ticket sales with an average of 50 phone calls per day.

I acted as a liaison for performers, team guests, and VIP’s. I interacted with the public to educate the fan base and generate sales. I coordinated and supervised game day promotion distribution and assisted with promotions. I developed relationships with businesses, individuals, schools, and local governments. I sold individual, corporate and group ticket packages with a high success rate and made 250+ calls per week.
