At GoDaddy I continued my work from Main Street Hub to help build GoDaddy Social, which provided our social media services to help small businesses easily manage their online presence. I managed and created new applications which handled the throughput of content we published for our customers and continued dealing with our third-party social media integrations.

Acquired by GoDaddy.At Main Street Hub I joined the infrastructure team where we helped enable engineers to quickly spin up microservices within our AWS cloud. We used Jenkins for CI/CD and built pipelines that automated the set-up, testing, deployment, and rollback of our applications. Additionally, we used Ansible and Python to implement our AWS infrastructure as code as well as to automate and simplify error-prone processes like IAM roles, key management, etc.I then moved into a more backend focused role where I helped develop microservices in Java and Kotlin using the Dropwizard framework, as well as manage our legacy application in PHP. We integrated with external social media applications such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp to post content on behalf of our customers and directly integrated with teams from these companies to help develop APIs for us to use.

OpenWhisk started as an IBM research initiative to bring Functions as a Service to the IBM Cloud. It is open-source and part of the Apache Software Foundation, and additionally contributed to by Adobe and RedHat. I joined OpenWhisk to help jump-start their Austin-based team and initially came on to help develop their CLI in Go. Soon after, I helped start a new initiative to make it easier for users to immediately get up-and-running with OpenWhisk solutions on the cloud.

Worked as a full-stack engineer using React, Node.js, Express, and Redux. Helped create and test applications to track user adoption of IBM's Cloud using Segment and Amplitude. Also helped other teams by coming on-board to refine and build out dashboards and the developer experience for various IBM Cloud and Watson services.
