As a Principal Software Engineer with over a decade of experience specializing in distributed services, I've led and contributed to a broad spectrum of projects, demonstrating my versatility across innovative startups and Fortune 500 companies alike.Most recently, I worked on a video game in the Competitive Card Game (CCG) space. Leveraging Unity, I introduced new in-game features that enriched the player experience and engagement. I also worked on redesigning back-end systems to integrate new features while also improving the game's reliability and performance. Beyond development, I am passionate about empowering teams. I developed internal tools that enabled game designers and QA teams to independently build and test new features, which not only sped up delivery but also helped reduce errors and QA workload by having standardized rules that could be enforced against these new features.Before that I worked with a company in the Dealer Management System (DMS) space to help integrate their legacy Windows-based application with an international automotive company. This project integrated the manufacturers warranty and part acquisition workflows into their legacy application that their users were familiar with while being built on a new modern platform using several new backend Dotnet applications.
