This position had a dual function which supported both the Sales and IT departments. Daily responsibilities for the sales function of this position include:- Inside sales: providing service rates for transload and container dray services to customers over the phone and via email.- Determining the appropriate cost structure for work that was outside normal operation. - Maintained and strengthened relationships with existing customers through in-person meetings, phone conversation, and email interaction. - Preparing internal and external service change announcements. Distributing those announcements via email or physical posting.- Updating the company 'Tariff' as rate or service changes occur.Daily responsibilities for the IT function of this position include:- Reviewing, summarizing and reporting instances of IT service disruptions to my counterpart at M-P's IT contractor. - Identifying priority work for the day or week and assigning said work to IT contractor.- Following up with contractors in regards to various tickets, whether opened or closed. - Evaluating recommendations for software, equipment, and services; determining the "fit" of each recommendation for current and future programming. Contributed in the creation of marketing, operational, and development components for a single-event pickleball tournament. The tournament hosted 65 participants, comprised of 14 staff and volunteers, and accumulated net revenue of $1,852.00, $1,000 of which was donated to the charity "Pets for Vets." The tournament was a capstone course project designed to showcase our understandings of our course materials and theoretical knowledge-base. My group received an A on the project and donated the most out of the three groups to charity.

Provided a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for University Recreation patrons at off-site recreation properties. As a recreation supervisor I played the role of direct customer service representative at a multitude of facilities as well as assumed the role of facility manager in a limited capacity.Off-site University Recreation facilities that I supervised included playfields, sports fields complexes, and a four building, 900,000 square foot recreation facility complete with four sport courts, 10 raquetball courts, two swimming pools, two mat rooms, and several multi-purpose rooms.Activities supervised included a variety of user groups including club sports teams, student groups and general building reservations. Participated in the design of the student-employee handbook and policy manual, specific to the recreation supervisor position.

Orientation program designed to enforce leadership characteristics in college freshmen. As part of the program I was involved in identifying potential leadership characteristics within participants, conducting events and activities, and ensuring the emotional wellbeing of participants. Orientation groups were separated into groups of facilitators and roughly twelve incoming freshmen. The program lasted an intensive day and a half with two days of training and follow up recommendations and student mentorship.

Volunteered in a NCAA Division One compliance department for practicum credit. Volunteer services consisted of four hours a week learning the function and purpose of the compliance office at Washington State University. As a compliance volunteer I performed clerical work, maintained confidential records and information, and completed projects and tasks as assigned by my direct superiors. As a result of this practicum experience, I became more familiar with the significance of internal, institutional control, and have a decent understanding of the NCAA Division One manual.

Volunteered in the equipment room of a Division NCAA program for four hours a week starting in January and ending in May. Volunteer services included the issuance of equipment, processing of requests, equipment repair and reconditioning, and general laundry duties.As part of my volunteer position, I was assigned various tasks which improved the daily efficiency of the equipment room. This usually was in the form of completing unfinished or pending tasks during the lunch hours of more senior equipment room staff. As a result of this practicum experience, I acquired a more thorough understanding of the equipment operations role in the scope of the athletic department and have a more rounded view of athletic department operation.

I was appointed to the position of University Recreation "UREC" Liaison after the incumbent was no longer able to perform his assigned duties. As the UREC Liaison I was charged with nurturing the relationship between the Washington State University Men's Crew team and their governing body, UREC. The basic position included the accurate exchange of information between the two organizations, but it very rapidly evolved into much more than just the stewardship of protocol and operation.As the UREC Liaison I am credited with the successful capture of funds necessary for team operations. I am also credited with the petitioning of UREC for funds specific to the purchase of a $26,000 Pocock Trailer, used for the transport of boats and team equipment. As a team officer and delegated tasks depending on priority, I was designated the event coordinator and planner for the yearly fundraising auction. This included the design of the menu, coordination of personnel, and a great deal of behind the scenes paperwork. The importance of the position quickly blossomed, and eventually it resulted in the UREC Liaison becoming a voting member of the officer corps of the Men's club crew program at WSU.
