About Zach Ivans Cts-D • Cts-I

Zach is a Sound Designer and Engineer specializing in spatial audio as well as the Director of Audio Systems for Sphere. He enjoys designing content and systems for live events such as concerts, theatre, and art installations.As a Sound Designer he is most interested in advancing the use of spatial audio and through that technology creating visceral experiences for audiences and performers. He has trained on and deployed L-Acoustics’ L-ISA, d&b audiotechnik’s Soundscape, Meyer Sound's SpaceMap/SpaceMap Go, Holoplot, Spatial Audio Designer and BlackTrax.When Zach isn’t designing sound for live productions he is typically consulting on, designing, programming, and commissioning audio-visual systems. His primary focus is working with AV integrators to bring their clients' visions to life.Zach is also dedicated to sharing knowledge and experiences with the next generation of sound artists. You can frequently find him teaching masterclasses, speaking at conferences, and guest lecturing at universities.
