Primary projects included the Commissioning of two large LEED qualified military training facilities for the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Oversaw and managed the commissioning phases of these projects through construction. Lead the Functional Testing tasks of these projects. Projects ranged in HVAC complexity using simple Air Handling Units and Variable Air Volume technology to more complex Dedicated Outside Air Systems with Enthalpy Heat Exchanger and Heat Pump technology. Commissioned other more sustainable technologies such as Photovoltaic and Inverter systems, Solar Hot Water systems, and Rain Water Collection Systems. Provided Retro-Commissioning Services for twenty-one United States Army Reserve Centers throughout the Northeast as part of their Energy Savings Performance Contract. Completed Functional Performance Testing of existing equipment, systems, and controls. Documented current operational conditions and system deficiencies. Analyzed current programming and sequences of operation of systems and optimized equipment operations control through programming changes, set point adjustments, and scheduling updates. Other project experience includes Controls System Retrofitting and Combined Heat & Power Retrofits to central heating plants.
