Commencing with 13 pioneering students, the TCU Sales Program has now grown to include over 200 students, with a waitlist of 100+, ranking it as the 4th largest program in Neeley, surpassing the size of many majors. However, the program's true aim and mission extend beyond its size. The primary purpose of the sales program is to enhance the lives and careers of its students. With a remarkable 100% placement rate and compensation exceeding $100k, accompanied by countless stories of personal transformation, Zach has discovered his true purpose and passion. Collaborating with his team of sales executives, he aspires to expand the program's reach and impact, enriching the lives and careers of every TCU student while also promoting the noble profession of sales to the world.Zach's research primarily centers on enhancing the performance of salespeople and sales organizations, and his work has been featured in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Industrial Marketing Management. He has received recognition from the American Marketing Association, winning the AMA Sales SIG Sales Excellence in Research Award in 2015, 2016, and 2021, as well as the 2023 James M. Comer Award for Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management. In 2019, he was honored as an MSI Young Scholar.Before entering academia, Zach gained nearly a decade of experience in sales, financial analysis, pricing analysis, consulting, and marketing. As a sales manager for a marketing research firm, he successfully closed customized research projects with Fortune 2000 firms, including Dell, Continental Airlines, and Lenovo. In his role as a pricing analyst for a grocery chain, he was responsible for competitive benchmarking and optimizing prices for over 50 product categories, encompassing 35,000+ SKUs across 5 different sales territories.
