I am an experienced environmental consultant with a passion for the natural world. I strive to conduct the highest quality work for my clients as well as for the species I am surveying. Over the course of my professional career, I have primarily focused on the study of bat species of the eastern United States. I received an Associate of Science degree in Wildlife Technology in 2010 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science in 2012. I assisted with my first bat survey in 2010. Since then, I have worked extensively with multiple bat species including the Indiana, gray, northern long-eared, little brown, tri-colored and Virginia big-eared bats. I have held a federal bat survey permit since 2013 and have conducted hundreds of surveys for both the private and public sectors. I am well versed with all types of bat surveys including mist netting, harp trapping, acoustic monitoring, radio-telemetry, habitat assessments, exit counts and cave surveys. When not conducting bat surveys, I serve as a project manager, author reports/regulatory documents, prepare proposals, and discuss future projects with clients. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to antique stores and researching history.
