Led the development of a new suite of public cloud services (CloudHub) which allowed customers to use resources and identities from multiple clouds (initially AWS) with private peering to create federated MultiCloud applications. Developed strategy for Compute Commoditization, which allowed for Oracle’s Compute resources to be drop-in replacements for their counterparts on other CSPs. Cloudhub was the keynote demo for Oracle’s global CloudWorld 2022 conference.- Grew software development team from 0 to more than 30 in 6 months. Worked directly with EVP of Cloud and OCI Chief Technical Architect.- Created budget, hired, and delivered first Beta release in less than 9 months.

Built global CI/CD and region build from initial, nascent tools. Managed global infrastructure and software state for all Oracle regions, public, private, connected, disconnected and government. This allowed Oracle to scale from a handful of tiny regions to over 70, with near total automation managing all PaaS, SaaS and IaaS platform infra and software. 80% reduction in SDE|SRE effort per region.- Grew software development team from 0 to 120+ including product and program management, Software Dev Managers, Directors and Senior Directors as well as over 100 SDEs and SREs, at all levels from interns to Senior Principal Engineers. Tech stack: Java, JS, React, Rust, Ruby, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud, agile, scrum.- Directly worked with all cloud SVPs and EVP of cloud on critical initiatives- 50% reduction in average deploy and patch time, >90% reduction in effort over more than 100,000 infrastructure and software deployments. - Helped define Oracle’s Dedicated Region product for Commercial and Gov’t customers.- Championed incubation and innovation, resulting in team being awarded >25 patents, with another 20 filed

Co-Founder and Principal PartnerBuilt and led a cloud native architecture and consulting firm, providing software development and cloud native transformation solutions to clients. Linux, Docker, K8S, Object Storage, hyperconverged, CLOS architectures, Multi-PB stateful systems and other cloud native technologies and patterns.

Provided cloud-native architecture for private, public and hybrid cloud with our clients as well as professional services including cloud consulting and strategic business consulting for multiple business sectors and clients. In this role, I focused on architecting solutions using Linux, Docker, K8S, Mesos, Object Storage, OpenStack, CLOS architectures, global payments and timing, Multi-PB storage (mostly object). I helped F500 clients migrate from legacy monoliths to microservices and cloud native patterns, and performed pre-sales engineering and architecture.

Led delivery of new cloud native SkyDrive arch, immutable deployments, automated repair, and migration to Azure.

Scaled the telemetry systems to support Windows Vista/7 and later, global error reporting for applications and operating systems (Windows, Xbox, Surface, etc). Owned global activation systems. Build global service network for Teredo.

Developed migration plans and architecture for Microsoft's services such as Sharepoint, Groove, Telemetry, Product Activation, etc.
