I've always done anything in my power to stand out among others by communicating, working hard and solving problems - all while learning along the way. I have done this in each of my medical work experiences, which include the first ever Medical Assistant position at Ria Health, an up-and-coming TeleHealth company focused on addiction treatment, and, currently, as a Bioengineer and Clinical Liaison at Focalyx Technologies, an innovative and unique medical device company that uses Artificial Intelligence to more efficiently diagnose and treat Prostate Cancer.In addition to clinical work, I have a plethora of research experience, including interning at the UCSF Pain Research Lab for two summers, an intensive shadowing and research experience at the Stanford Stem Cell and Regenerative Surgery Laboratory, running my own medical research on the efficiency of certain medications in reducing the craving for alcohol in mice at Tufts University, and, most recently, assessing the effect of tumor burden on cancer treatments at UCSF.
