I'm a Software Developer with a background in human biomechanics and physiology. I have my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Medical Physiology from the University of Waterloo (2019), and my Masters of Science in Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation from the University of Alberta (2023).For my Master's thesis, I researched hip mechanics in resisted squatting. In my time as a graduate student, I gained experience with scientific data analysis, visualization, teaching, and running research studies. I was a finalist in the University of Alberta's 3-Minute Thesis competition (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCanbaUpruw), was a teaching assistant for 6 different courses, and aided with the weight training for the women's varsity volleyball team. I also gave an oral presentation on some of my thesis research findings at the North American Conference on Biomechanics 2022.It was during the latter part of my thesis work which I found a passion for software development. With scientific data analysis as the entry point, I began to explore other software subdomains and landed my current position as a Software Developer at Claero Solutions, developing a SaaS Progressive Web Application.
