Zack Fine (he/him/his) is a teacher of clown and games currently on faculty at NYU. He works on and off-Broadway as an actor, director, and playwright, and leads workshops on play and creativity around the world. He graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in American History (Summa Cum Laude) and M.F.A. from the University of Tennessee. His pedagogy of play began with many years of apprenticeship in the world of clowning. First with Christopher Bayes at Yale and Juilliard, then at the Circus Center in San Francisco, then a collaboration with Aitor Basauri of the internationally renown Spymonkey and a sojourn in Paris with the world famous Philipe Gaulier. Zack has been interviewed and featured in many national news outlets for his work.
