Queer clinical social worker focusing on crisis work and anti-oppressive practice. Demonstrated experience both working on the ground and in project management. I enjoy building connections, supporting staff and clients, as well as building and changing systems. My overarching goal in this work is to create lasting systemic change that supports marginalized populations. To do so, we must also adapt the ways in which we treat one another and examine how trauma and supremacy have made their way into organizational culture and values. I have clinical training and experience in crisis intervention/assessment, CBT(P), DBT; relational cultural theory; and generative somatics. I have focused on working with folks experiencing severe mental illness, homelessness, depression; anxiety; BPD; and queer folks. I am a curious and kind person, always starting with the questions like: what is happening? Why is it happening? How do we feel about it? and how can we change? I believe that the personal and the systemic are intertwined and that I can be someone to support both one-on-one through clinical interventions and on a larger scale.
