As a mechanical design engineer, I am responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems for healthcare applications. A typical project starts by developing 2D drawings of each system and performing the necessary calculations to supply the mechanical equipment and ductwork/pipe sizing to maximize the performance of each system. After each system’s layout is finalized, 3D coordination between each mechanical trade is reviewed to ensure successful installation during construction. Once the project enters the construction phase, I am responsible for reviewing the contractor’s shop drawings, equipment submittals, and to answer any questions the contractor may have. Finally, once the project is nearing its conclusion. I am also responsible for performing job site observations to confirm all construction document requirements have been met and the mechanical systems have been installed successfully.

As a design engineer, I am responsible for designing the fire protection system for our tenant improvement projects and new core installations. For tenant Improvement projects, the process begins by visiting each job site and surveying the existing fire protection system to better understand where the new sprinkler heads can tie into the existing system. After this, using the reflected ceiling plan for every project, the sprinkler head locations are decided based on city and national codes as well as the general contractor's requirements. Then, Hyradulic calculations were performed on the most demanding location of each system to ensure that the proposed design will work properly. Once the design has received approval from the city and the general contractor, I communicate with our purchasing department and confirm what parts needed to be ordered to successfully install the new system. Lastly, I confirm my design with our field team and the other trades working on the project to ensure there are no complications when installing the new system.

Properly trained a staff of around 70 lifeguards and 40 deck attendants and 10 maintenance workers. Each staff member was trained to respond to emergencies and help the water park function efficiently. Daily Tasks included organized the staff to optimize the effectiveness for the safety of each patron in the water park. Also I responded to customer's concerns and responded to aquatic and first aid emergencies as necessary.

Provided a safe environment for all patrons in the water park by keeping close watch on the section I was in charge of and enforcing all mandatory rules. I also responded to aquatic emergencies and other first aid scenarios properly.

This included showing the existing conditions and then explaining what changes and improvements would be made for the proposed conditions. Preformed construction observation on four infrastructure projects in Rolling Meadows IL. The projects included a residential road resurfacing and a separate residential road reconstruction. The other projects were a road re-construction on Kirchhoff Rd. from S Wilke Rd to Hicks Rd (about 1.25 miles), and a bridge re-construction on Barker Ave. I was also responsible for documenting relative information for Illinois Department of Transportation, which included cost estimates and other audit paperwork.

Controlled little league baseball games for young kids from the ages of 8-15 years old. I was responsible for knowing and enforcing all of the rules applicable to the sport of baseball in order to provided for fair competition for the players and coaches. I was also in charge of providing a safe atmosphere for the players, coaches, and fans.
