As a founding employee of NVision Solutions, I was with the company as it grew from a scrappy startup in a space only a little bigger than a broom closet to the successful company it is now. While I was with the company I was responsible for several successful software projects. On one multi-year project, I worked closely with an engineering firm to develop LIDAR-based software that predicted the behavior of transmission lines under load by applying a physics model. I also built several applications to support geospatial analysis including modeling water inundation. I love teaching and so was extremely fortunate in becoming an ArcIMS ESRI authorized instructor and taught web-based GIS software in instructor-led classrooms. I also worked as a consultant to ESRI and supported their Developer Support Group in Redlands, CA on three separate occasions.

I was responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting several software packages. One of my favorite projects was creating a NASA Landsat Data Viewer which was distributed to schools and was recognized by NASA in an innovation award. I worked with other members of my team to develop and teach instructor led classes on geospatial technology.
