Family Legacy Partners is an independent financial services firm, focused on financial planning and advising. They brought me in as an intern last winter to help them bring a new software online, and transition to using this CRM to hold much of their client information. I digitized files using Microsoft Office, and uploaded them to their new SmartOffice platform, so that they could view all of their data on one platform. Aside from these operational aspects, I was also responsible for conducting mutual fund research on Morningstar to identify the volatility of mutual funds that the firm currently had its AUM invested in.

My primary responsibility at State Street is to manually process equity, fixed income, and asset backed trades. In doing so I collaborate with fellow employees in the US and India to rectify issues and meet company deadlines. I also work in revision queues, utilizing various computer programs to amend trades that have been processed incorrectly. This certainly requires a high level of responsibility, as I am personally accountable for ensuring that transactions, which in some instances exceed $1 billion dollars, are processed correctly.

I was the head coach of Hopkins Academy's boys soccer team during their summer season. As head coach I communicated to the players and coordinate with the other coach to create lineups and discuss game strategy.

Jones is a joint reality and property company that owns and manages over 300 residential and commercial properties in the Pioneer Valley. While working for Jones I would interact directly with tenants, conveying requests and complaints to upper management and the company owner. Working in building maintenance, I performed maintenance activities such as cleaning, painting, and repairing student apartments and houses. Since the company was small and there was limited management personnel, I often worked both autonomously and collaboratively with other employees to meet tight project deadlines.

At Lazy Acres Farm I began work at 6 AM, 7 days a week during the demanding summer season, picking and packaging corn and squash as well as chopping and hanging tobacco until we had filled all of the orders for the day.

At Four Rex Farm I worked picking and packing corn 7 days a week for the entire summer, starting each day at 5 AM and working until we had filled every order.
