Developing, implementing and managing a world class safety program at an automotive manufacturing facility employing 700+ employees. Primary duties involved emergency management and response, industrial hygiene, incident investigation, follow-up, and closure; chemical management; policy development, internal auditing; workers compensation and employee health; governmental reporting and 300 log management.Successful projects at BorgWarner include improving our medical response team to include North Carolina credentialed EMTs with 29 CFR 1904 training to help lower our TRIR. The launch of multiple PPE teams that includes employee involvement in sampling of PPE, providing feedback and launching new PPE on the campus. In collaboration with the PPE team, I helped launch a PPE laundering process with a 3rd party vendor to launder our newly stocked gloves. The cost savings for the campus is averaging around $2,000-$3,000 per month on a selection of glove that are on average $3-$4 greater in price than the previous glove selection. Additionally, I led an initiative to investigate, vet, and launch an EHS data management software at the BorgWarner Asheville campus, as well as multiple site across North/Central America.

While working as a consultant at The EI Group, my primary duties were to provide industrial hygiene services to customers including, Coca Cola, Amazon, Norfolk Southern, Snyders-Lance, Duke Energy, FMC, Chromalloy, ABB, Lear Corporation, and many other companies.Duties included providing superior customer service to existing customers, selling our services to new potential customers, project management, project estimation, qualitative assessments, quantitive assessments (air sampling, noise dosimetry, passive dosimetry, OSHA side-by-side, direct-read), report writing and project follow-up/closure.This job exposed me to working with the 29 CRF 1910 General Industry Standard, 29 CFR 1926 Construction Industry Standard, multiple ASSE/NFPA/ACGIH/WHO/CDC regulations and standards.
