• Set strategy, managed tactics and analyzed results for the University of Oregon's top branded properties across digital and print, while leading a team of about 20 professionals in graphic design, web development, user experience, and video production. • Oversaw production of institutional TV spots in 2016 and 2017, a series of substantive pieces representing the overall university. • Served as acting director of communications for the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact, handling donor, legislative, internal and overall communications from fall of 2016 until made permanent in spring of 2018.• Played an active role in crisis communications.

• Led web, social and video launch of the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact. • Drove conception, production and execution for #ThrowYourO UO TV commercials and social media effort. • Conceived, managed, oversaw and helped execute UO presence at 2016 Olympic Trials, including highly successful Run with a Researcher events. • Led a team of designers, web developers, analysts, writers, videographers and social media pros, to build, maintain and measure success of the University of Oregon's digital efforts.• Oversaw the University of Oregon's top digital properties, both official UO websites and social media channels, creating and enforcing standards for social media, web design, development, accessibility and overall best practices. • Created in-house video and photography team for priority university projects.

Helped teach a pair of demanding undergraduate journalism classes while pursuing M.A. in literary nonfiction.

Taught English to sixth- through 11th-graders in Ukraine, wrote, received and managed a grant for desktop publishing. Also worked closely with students after school to introduce them to the Internet at a computer lab sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Earned Advanced-Intermediate status in the Russian language, honed my ability to adapt to my surroundings and learned how to find satisfaction in even the most challenging of circumstances.
