• Provide the city of Anaconda with fire and emergency medical service.• Provide Anaconda Deer Lodge County with 911 emergency medical services and transport service.• Provide ADLC volunteer fire departments with instant, mutual aid. • Provide ADLC with operational Haz-Mat response and automobile extrication service. • Provide the community of Anaconda with fire prevention programs, first-aid and CPR training and community service. • Support and participate in regular on and off duty training.• Maintain all fire and EMS apparatus and vehicles. • Operate and drive all fire and EMS apparatus and vehicles. • Maintain AFD station facility. • Complete and file all necessary reports for each fire and EMS incident. • Continue education and training.

Job Duties/Responsibilities• Assuring the safety of myself, my crew, and my patients.• Responding to calls with intent to providing efficient and immediate basic life support care to the ill and injured, and transport patients to a medical facility. • Driving and operating class 2 and 3 ambulances in emergency and non-emergency situations and, many times, over long distances.• Checking, maintaining and cleaning ambulances, and other EMS equipment. Assuring equipment is in working order and in proper place and supply. Also maintaining the station facility; performing routine cleaning and maintenance; providing minor repairs and improvements.• Continuing personal and crew education by supporting and participating in regular off-duty training.
