Solidworks, AutoCAD, PronestBystronic LaserAlltra CNC, Hypertherm Plasma

At this company I am a CNC plasma operator running the ESAB Avenger X with the ESAB controller. I am responsible for checking accuracy on cut parts and meeting deadlines for shipments. All maintenance and machine repair is done by myself in a timely fashion to proceed with production. This company has forklifts and overhead cranes, both of which I am proficient at using.

I was responsible for programming 4 CNC machines which included 3 Alltra Hypertherm plasma tables and an Amada Lasmac LC-1212 laser. Completing payroll for employees in my division was also a part of my weekly tasks including tracking used vacation times and sick days. Programming these machines included the tightest fit nesting for plate consumption and the fastest /most reliable cut sequence to complete the job. For the Alltra tables I used AutoCAD 2016 to draw and Hypertherm ProNest to create the cnc file for cutting. These tables are all 5-axis and were used at their full potential with bevel cuts, common line cuts, chain cutting and skeleton cut off through the ProNest software.The CNC laser by Amada was programmed using BobCAD-CAM to create g code for production cuts. I also drew the parts with AutoCAD 2016. I also had to keep up on the machines cutting parameters as optic lenses became old, guaranteeing that the laser was cutting at it's best potential. I am also skilled in art designs with metal. All machines were used to create structural art pieces at one point in time. Everything from mirroring a photographed picture to a company sign. I have special programming attached to my personal laptop to get the job done if ever needed.

This is the company I worked part time for during a transition with moving into and renovating my newly purchased home. I had no intentions of long term stay with this company. During my time I was the saw operator for production of mining equipment. I was responsible for the tightest fit nest with different tubing sizes/ styles. Full bundles of tubing were welded at one end and cut using a CNC hydraulic band saw.The band saw was a Hyd-Mech.

This was my first job and my get in with the industry. I worked multiple positions during this time. I started off operating and running the CNC Amada laser machine for about 2-1/2 years. I was then moved to a different division where I ran multiple machines including cnc band saws, press brakes manual and CNC, metal shears, ironworkers and welding. I learned a lot about welding during this time and I still know how but I am by all means not certified. I was also involved with shipping/ will call with a team where we would gather orders together and prepare for shipments in a timely manor. I have great knowledge with different thickness' of tubing, angle iron, sheet metal and specialty plates, including different grades of said items.Machines used: Miller welders, HydMech saws, Piranha ironworkers, Accupress press brake, Accupress shear brake.
