In 2019, Bandbox was acquired and is now a part of Sub Management Group Bandbox was Canada's leading funding management team for the Canadian music industry. Providing professional and administrative support to emerging and export acts, Canadian and international music businesses and some of Canada's most reputable festivals and events. Bandbox specialized in Funding and Government Relations, private Financing Services and Immigration Services. In five years, the company secured nearly $25 Million for its clients while providing over a hundreds of thousands in pro-bono support.As co-founder and President my role included:- Lead Advisor to primary business development projects and initiatives- Client and partner relations- Sales and public representation- Lead on large-scale and specialized campaigns- Strategic Planning Consultation- Immigration services and partnerships

With a mandate to support independent musicians through advocacy, industry education, career opportunity and professional support, my primary role was to develop and coordinate the organization's current programming while seeking out new initiatives and further member benefits. Increasing membership and program awareness was a top priority along with securing operational funding and investment.- Expanded national membership from 3,300 to over 15,500 opt-in Canadian artists in under 2 years. Developed and launched paid membership tier.- Met revenue targets at 200% introducing new financing structures, partnerships and streams.- Expanded the CIRAA Mentorship Program to the most coveted artist-to-artist mentorship program in the country. Paired 33 promising independent artists with 33 of Canada’s biggest musicians.-Secured financing and expanded operations from one part-time position to three full-time staff positions and two part-time positions in under two years. -Established long-term strategic relationships with primary government stakeholders within The Department of Canadian Heritage, Ontario Minustry of Finance, the Canada Arts Caucus, Employment and Social Development to name a few. Coordinated meetings and informational sessions between CIRAA Members and key influencer. -Pressured various funding bodies to increase available funding for independent artist entrepreneurs. The programs in question increased by $500k annually in perpetuity towards a greater diversity of eligible activities.
