Provides technology products and services in support of KP’s Northern California region’s mission to deliver high-quality, affordable health care to its 4.5+ million members. Ensures technology availability for clinical operations and drives investments that deliver the greatest value to the business lines and the members and communities of Northern California. Leads & inspires a team of technicists who support physicians and employees across Northern California, enabling KP to provide tech-enabled, high-quality affordable care in our 21 Hospitals, 250+ MOBs, at home, and online wherever they live, work, and play.

Responsible for facilitating governance and leading the delivery of technology products and services to Kaiser Permanente facilities nationally. Accountable technology leader supporting Kaiser Permanente facility based initiatives and managing the delivery of IT products and services for the KP facilities capital plan, an IT investment budget valued at approximately $300M/year. Strategic IT partner for the national facilities business line, supporting clinical service delivery leaders and facility operation leaders. Technology partner for Clinical Technology and National Patient Care Services for all technology solutions, including the integration of medical devices into IT systems. Provide product management leadership for the Facility Technology portfolio. Direct leadership accountability for 250 IT leaders and a matrixed team of hundreds of IT delivery staff across the program.

Accountable for the delivery of IT products and services (e.g., telephony, network, distributed computing, software applications, cabling and wireless infrastructure) to all buildings within Kaiser Permanente, including new and replacement hospitals, medical office buildings and administrative facilities.

Accountable for the multi-year, enterprise wide, voice migration from various TDM systems to a common VoIP platform. Portfolio management responsibility for 1000+ migration projects across Hospital, primary care, and administrative facilities.

Define, develop, and refine IT infrastructure strategies to support the Kaiser Permanente vision for technology enabled healthcare

Gather requirements, design, and develop custom campus and enterprise telecommunications solutions. Expertise in In-building systems, DAS, Campus telecommunications networks, UC platforms, enterprise mobility and workflow enablement.
