I was responsible for ringing customers up at the register, keeping my register area clean and organized along with being able to learn the register system. Away from the register, I had to stock the shelves with bottles and make sure everything was properly lined up. There was also inventory to do in the back room during any free time.

At Hibbett, I was to greet customers as they came into the store and made sure they needed no help throughout their time in the store. It was also part of my job to explain the benefits of the rewards program with the hopes of creating new accounts. When I wasn't ringing up customers I had to keep the shoe wall and the clothing racks neat and cleaned as well as the store floor clean and maintained. There were certain days where I had to stock the truck after it was unloaded as well.

My essential function as a busser was to help my server. We would get assigned servers and throughout the night I would have to do things to help make the night flow smoother. For example, after each meal I had to clean the dirty plates and silverware off and prepare their table with fresh silverware and plates. Throughout the night I would help the server carry out food and also fill waters up as needed. There was also a busser station that several of us used, and we needed to keep it clean and maintained at all times. At the end of the night we would all have a breakdown routine we had to complete before we left.

I was to go door-to-door trying to sell the services we offered at American Design and Build. I just had to set up the appointments for our company representatives to then come out. The services offered were, window repair, roof repairs and shutter repairs. If I set up appointments I got bonuses added onto my check each week.
