As an associate attorney in the firm's Casualty Department, I defended clients in cases involving premises liability, products liability, automobile liability, and other general liability issues. In addition, I worked with the firm's Special Investigation Unit ("SIU") investigating and litigating cases involving insurance fraud. This included a significant amount of coverage evaluation and analysis. Practically speaking, I conducted legal research, drafted pleadings and other documents submitted to the court, conducted depositions, and appeared before various tribunals on behalf of clients. This experience has included taking and defending over one hundred (100) depositions and examinations under oath and appearing for over fifty (50) arbitration proceedings. This required working in close conjunction with clients and insureds to achieve positive results on their behalf.

As a Law Clerk to the Honorable M. Patricia Richmond, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington Vicinage, Civil Part, I conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on a variety of legal issues. In addition, I assisted the Judge with the management and disposition of the voluminous motion docket filed with the Court. Further, I coordinated case management and settlement conferences and mediated Special Civil and Landlord/Tenant Cases. This position required strong communications skills, flexibility, research skills, and the ability to multitask.

As a Junior Paralegal, I worked with attorneys and support staff in the Firm's Petroleum Industries Practice Group to prepare discovery materials, conduct legal research, and review, code, and file documents.
