Vice President, Senior Originations Analyst - Multifamily Housing
CurrentLument is a national leader in commercial real estate finance that delivers a comprehensive set of capital solutions customized for investors in multifamily, affordable housing, and seniors housing and healthcare real estate.Currently work directly with a single senior originator as his support, providing initial and ongoing analysis to take loans from opportunities to engagement and underwriting. Work directly with underwriters and processors to collect and review borrower due diligence. Occasionally prepare portions of the underwriting narratives, including Sponsor credit/REO analysis and market summary (via the appraisal and other market data sources listed below). Responsible for producing preliminary loan analyses for potential loans brought in by originator for FNMA, FHA, CMBS, or RED Balance Sheet executions. Includes analyzing property income statements and sizing loans by completing initial underwriting based on FNMA or FHA program guidelines and market data. To understand a property's market and make appropriate assumptions, utilize REIS, CoStar, and Axiometrics websites, while also analyzing similar properties in RED's portfolio for typical metrics. Help prepare term sheets; if a borrower agrees with the proposed loan terms, prepare the quote sheet and a transaction/concept memo for submission. If approved, help prepare initial loan applications to send to borrowers and engage third-parties.Other Experience:Completed credit review memos related to the funding of negative arbitrage deposits in conjunction with bond closings. Reviewed searches using Google, Lexis Nexus, OFAC, Secretary of State, Equifax, and D&B for potential red flags. Performed analyses of participant financial statements and REO schedules to determine strengths or weaknesses. Examined the structure of each transaction to determine participant relationships, ownership, and relevant experience.
