• Collaborating with the Production Planner to develop the daily plan by reviewing production schedules and making job assignments• Plan,coordinate and advise department employees of work to be completed daily• Oversee daily activities of assigned shift. Use high degree of concentration and thorough knowledge of the operations process to supervise employees. • Involve in daily communication with Production Manager, Lead men and all employees’ necessary in the operations process.• Print & release production schedule to all work centers through ERP along with labels• Assist in the design and implementation of fixtures/ jigs to support improved quality and efficiency• Create Raw Materials transfer orders for each work center for the given schedule using ERP system• Responsible for coordinating the activities of associates engaged in the production of Furniture products• Training, developing, motivating, and leading a team to achieve production goals and objectives.• Give verbal and written reports daily to Production Manager• Ensure all barcodes for job cards, pick list and finished goods to be scanned & entered into ERP system• Generate work center wise waste generation reports using ERP system• Oversee daily setup of new machineries and equipment prior to production for efficient and effective operation.• Monitor production process to insure smooth flow. Receive and resolve operation problems for shift.• Monitor and track Daily Performance Metrics and facilitate real time problem solving in areas of Non-conformance• Monitor performance of department employees to insure they follow established standards and procedures such as safety, housekeeping, etc. • Visually inspect products and/or operations to insure quality of products and/or work. Insure plant achieves 85% reliability on production lines.• Carry out personnel and safety policies while maintaining discipline within the plant• Ensure complete compliance to prescribed QMS and 5S processes
