To Supervise the Overall Procurement Functions as Head of Department. ( to handle procurement budget around Rupees 1000 million per annul ). Negotiate both terms and agreements with approved suppliers, Transporters, agents for Prices, managed inventories, modes for deliveries and logistics for obtaining 100% service level of procurement. Evaluate the suppliers on certain criteria before entering into contracts. To analyze the performance of suppliers on the basis of their service level and flexible policies. To deal with Customs Department and handle imports under SRO Conditions and to deal with Government Agencies like Federal Board of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, National Tariff Commission etc.To supervise the export activities relating to Clearance, Logistics, NOC(s) etc. To implement the cost reduction techniques in addition to develop alternate reliable source of supplies in this context. Monitor prices through possible ways. To enter in contracts / agreements with suppliers transporters, Clearing Agents, storage capacities for bulk materials. To carry out different analysis for management point of view.
