- Graduate Research Assistant to Prof. Rebecca E. Ciez, currently researching on technological, economical, and manufacturing viability of using different battery cathode materials, such as LMO, LFP, etc. in Lithium-ion batteries for long term energy storage, to decarbonize electricity.- Using PyBaMM and LiionPack (Python modules for battery analysis) to analyze degradation of battery capacities in long term grid battery energy storage systems (BESS).- Evaluating Levelized Cost of Storage (LCOS) for each of the different scenarios (Heat Pump use, building type, electrode materials, climate zones, etc.) using BatPac (Argonne National Lab) and data for operations of BESS from NREL.

- Worked on test cells equipped with MORPHEE and ETAS INCA, assisting in data analysis for OBD-II testing of GM Duramax 6.6L V8 Diesel Engine and endurance testing of NGK DPFs.- Performed post-processing and data analysis from engine dynamometer testing to assess EPA 1065 emission standards for diesel engines, data handling, processing, and presenting combustion and performance data (using Uniplot), engine and after-treatment control strategy development.

- Data analysis of performance, emissions and endurance tests of a range of engines (from 4.5 HMLDs to 60 Lt HHP) under development. Overseeing progress of tests from planning stage to results, diagnosing engine or test cell hardware-related issues through FMEA and preventing downtime with RCA of each issue. - Enhanced FTA for test cell issues. Coordinating across Cross-Functional teams and Project Managers for ensuring availability of test plans to keep 25+ Test Cells running 24x7 with high quality data output.- Worked on process documentation for standard practices in installation, testing, test equipment maintenance, etc. for ISO 17025:2017 certification by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, India, at Test Cells in CTCI.- Data analysis for certification of new 4.5, 5.6 and 6.7 litre BS-VI and Euro VI Engines, got awarded from CTO (India) for completing certification well within deadline, from planning stage to completion.- Received acknowledgement from CTO (India) for improving utilization of Test cells from below 85% to 95% by automating data analysis through MATLAB script integrating with MS Excel. Training technicians for preliminary and online data verification.

- Project on “Optimization of Material Recovery Plant Throughput” - Figured out major causes of downtime by analysing operations data from past two years at Material Recovery Plant of TATA Steel facility at Jamshedpur, India, and provided possible solutions to reduce the downtime. Gained insight in steel production and management of slag for re-use in construction and fertilizers.
