This is a funny but true story about the origins of REWO and why we did what we did:We started VIAR in 2015. Unlike other traditional software companies, we can trace our origins to cardboard manufacturing. There we familiarized ourselves with the pain of knowledge transfer in production/assembly.Initially, we tried to prepare written work instruction. Those didn’t really help as we found people sometimes simply skipped the details (PS: folding cardboard in the right way is a lot more complex than we would have ever imagined). We then tried to produce work instructions as videos. We found that although videos were better in delivering condense clear instructions, it took a lot more time to properly prepare them. There were simply too many different tools we needed to use and manage in the process. No easy-to-use tool was available for video! We saw this as an opportunity and became a software company. As we removed one obstacle after another REWO was born.REWO was Slovene's startup of the year in 2017. Today our software solution is used by manufacturing companies like HENKEL, HELLA, ODELO and NOVARTIS.
