My name is Amaro Gonzaga Silva, I'm from Porto, Portugal.My passion for technology and software appeared early in my life. When I was 7 years old I had my first contact with computers and by the age of 10 I assembled my own computer.From a young age I realized I wanted to work within IT and in 2008, I started my academic life, studying what I always wanted in the institution I always dreamed to be a part of - Integrated Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering at FEUP.During my master's thesis, I developed a library for a keyword-driven testing framework called Robot Framework, following an early interest in Software Testing and Quality. Since then, I did the ISTQB Certification Foundation Level, moved to London where I lived for 8 years and grew up massively both professionally and personally. I've built a solid career within the Banking Industry in test automation and also devops. I was also fortunate to be given the opportunity to mentor and grow different teams that had a huge impact in the business.I love to keep updated about new technologies and how they change our life. Outside tech, I always practiced sports (mainly tennis - Vamos Rafa!). I love traveling, cinema, photography and cars.
