I spearheaded a GAC-funded initiative in Malawi, dedicated to empowering women for enhanced socio-economic well-being by addressing barriers and ensuring their Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Rights. As the project lead for CODE, I collaborated with nine partner NGOs from the health, education, and communication sectors. Together, we employed a gender-transformative approach in collaboration with the Government of Malawi.

I played a key role in fostering a tripartite partnership between NI, the government, and the business sector. Notably, I led the launch of the 'Right Start' nutrition program for women and children, initiated the 'She'll Grow Into It' nutrition campaign, and launched the Fortified Lentil project in Bangladesh. As a leader, I directed the Senior Management Team and the Regional Management Team, while also establishing and chairing the management committee of UCEP’s higher-level technical education institutes. Ensuring donor and statutory compliances, I provided guidance for program innovation and addressed specific needs and opportunities. Supervising departments such as Monitoring, Evaluation & Research, Internal Audit, and Marketing & Partnership development, I fostered a culture of compliance and efficiency. Through strategic efforts, I elevated the organization's standing in the fields of literacy and girls' education, notably designing a need-based girls' education program that was later replicated in multiple countries.In my leadership role, I managed the international organization's activities in Bangladesh, overseeing the development of 68 highly appreciated books for early-grade readers. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in constructing 48 school buildings in remote areas, actively involving and engaging the local communities. I led the creation of innovative teaching-learning materials to foster literacy, facilitated the establishment of classroom libraries in over 500 government schools, and actively participated in international fundraising efforts.Furthermore, I took charge of developing and ensuring the implementation of organizational policies and procedures, contributing to the overall success and impact of Room to Read's initiatives in Bangladesh.
