I have more than two decades of professional experience in international development, both in Africa and Asia, with all the dimensions of social development - education, health and economic development. During this time, I worked with several international NGOs and one national NGO, out of which I led the country program of two international NGOs (Room to Read and Nutrition International) and one national NGO (UCEP Bangladesh). My thematic professional experiences included early childhood development, primary education, secondary education, girls' education, ICT-aided education, adult education, SRHR, Skills development, economic empowerment, and nutrition. I was also a board member of multiple organizations and provided voluntary and consultancy services to non-profit organizations in Bangladesh and Canada. I am humbled to receive several awards, including the US Presidential Eisenhower Fellowship in 2012 and the UK International Leadership program fellow in 2016.
