I have over 2 decades of experience in equity capital markets across emerging and frontier markets, where I have held senior roles in research and sales at leading global banks, such as Deutsche Bank and HSBC. I have a deep understanding of the drivers and dynamics of these complex and diverse regions, and a keen sense of both mechanistic and fundamental movers of price and value in equities. I have also built strong relationships with institutional investors, counter-parties, and stakeholders across the spectrum, from sovereign wealth funds to hedge funds and program trading desks. My analytical training and skills in sales, investments, and financial concepts have helped me generate investment ideas that have been consistently among the top ranked and most read by clients. I am also the co-founder of EFA, a private enterprise that uses AI to detect diabetic retinopathy, a leading cause of blindness among diabetic patients in Bangladesh. Through our partnership with a Canadian company, we have developed and deployed a scalable and affordable solution that can save lives and prevent vision loss. Our mission is to leverage technology and innovation to address the unmet needs and challenges of healthcare in emerging markets.
