With over 40 years of experience in the power generation industry, I bring extensive expertise in chemical engineering, environmental compliance, and coal quality management. Currently, I serve as an Advisor/Consultant at M.P. Power Generating Company Ltd. (MPPGCL), leveraging my decades-long career to shape corporate strategies, oversee operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to environmental norms.My journey includes serving as Head of the Chemical Wing at MPPGCL, where I led critical initiatives across power plants, including fly ash utilization, coal quality monitoring, pollution control, and rehabilitation of aging plants. I played a pivotal role in key policy formulations, collaborating with government entities such as MoEF&CC, MoC, and CSIR-CIMFR.Key accomplishments:- Successfully commissioned major thermal power projects, including 500 MW and 600 MW units, and contributed to zero liquid discharge systems.Instrumental in the signing of national agreements for third-party coal quality monitoring.- Represented India in international delegations, such as the CEA-JCOAL Japan cooperation program for clean coal technology.A lifelong learner, I hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Jabalpur University and have furthered my knowledge through advanced research and certifications in biochemistry, computer applications, and energy efficiency.
