Zahra leads the "Algorithms and Applications Research and Development Department (2ARD2)" of GEO-Familiar infrastructure development knowledge-based company at the Innovation and Technology Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Iran.She is a geospatial science and technology expert with an excellent research profile and 12+ years of proven track records in GIS/RS consultant companies and national/ international research projects relevant to GIS, remote sensing and natural resources. Zahra holds two master degrees in remote sensing & GIS and Natural resources engineering. During her postgraduate studies and later in various research activities, she has received more than 7 awards with honor from national and international science and technology centers in Iran.Her research interests and recent/ current experiences are mainly in:• Environmental studies and researches using Satellite Image Processing.• Computational and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Algorithms in GIS (Such as Meta Heuristic Algorithms, Artificial Neural Networks and Agent based modeling).• Advanced modeling for applied GISs with main focus on climate changes, drought management, Optimal allocation of resources (water, land use, etc.), Spatial modeling for integrated management and planning of different resources and areas.• Spatial Decision Support models and Systems.• Spatial technology market development strategies.
