With several years of experience in bioinformatics (mathematical modeling) and machine learning, I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at IASBS, Zanjan, Iran. My PhD thesis focused on Bayesian inference of biological networks. I have experience analyzing gene expression and NGS data, and I have worked on several diseases to discover patterns useful for personalized medicine.My recent work with students includes research on drug-target interaction and PPI prediction using deep learning methods and we have our papers under review. I am also interested in analyzing graph-structured data using both classic and deep learning (GNN) methods. I am motivated to work on practical projects in cancer research, drug design, and personalized medicine.I have over five years of experience as a software engineer and developer in the industry, where I gained a strong background in working with databases and data mining techniques.
