Being analytical and outgoing at the same time, I decided to persuit a career as an actuary the moment I learnt about this field. Under my relentless effort, I earned actuarial science bachelor's degree while passing four soa exams. After which I went back to China and worked in related industry for a year. Equiped with statistical, interpersonal, and programming skills, I feel that it's time to connect with top insurance companies in the world to prove my value; therefore I applied for Columbia's M.S. program in actuarial science. I look forward to this challenging yet fruitful journey as I place my self in the center of world's financial industry.
