Advise the Executive in relation to the powers transferred by the Puerto Rico Planning Board and in matters related to HUD programs, including CDBG-DR ($22 millions allocated to Caguas Municipality) and CDBG-CV ($2 million allocated to Caguas) funds. Coordinate and supervise the staff of the Planning office. Manage different issues with my deputy directors, such as reviews of plans, deadlines, follow-up of reports, problems or unforeseen situations, contract invoices, among others. Through studies, field visits, analysis, and written reports, final determinations are made on land use endorsements and applications. Manage a budget of 2.5 million dollars between federal funds (CDBG) and regular funds. Also, coordinate the use of around 30 million dollars in funds from CDBG-DR, CDBG-CV, HMGP and FEMA. Serve on the Permit Committee, the Zoning Change Committee, and the Appraisal Report Committee.
